  10. Conclusions • A b scan on JET has shown decreasing confinement with increasing b. It was performed in a scenario with a hybrid preheat. • Different from previous ELMy H-mode b scans • Experiments and wider dataset suggests that decreasing confinement with increasing b associated with high triangularity, d>0.3, JET plasmas. • No sign that the q-profile differs from normal ELMy H-mode q-profile. • Modelling shows a stabilisation of ETG can quantitatively reproduce the results, but modelling of scans is found to be sensitive to parameter matches. • Further experiments to clarify effect of plasma shape on transport and confinement at high b.
