  1. Undoing Java Update Removing Java 7 Update 45 & Installing Java 7 Update 40

  2. Remove Java Update 45

  3. Go to Control Panel • Programs – Uninstall a Program • Find Java 7 update 45 • Highlight Java update 45 • Click on uninstall (at top in blue menu bar) • Follow instructions • Close control panel

  4. This process is slow • Be Patient – • The file is zipped on the website • DO NOT INSTALL ANY EXTRAS – (Bing toolbar etc.) • The last slide has a link to the JAVA executable

  5. Click Open

  6. Open the Zip File

  7. Double Click on the executable

  8. Run this PP in Presentation Mode • For the Executable to run you need to run this PowerPoint in presentation mode. • The next slide will start the loading of Java 1.7.0-40 • This process may be slow – be patient • Do not run executable until after you have removed version 1.7.0-45 • If you can’t do this ask your Tech person at your school

  9. Go to JAVA Executable Click on the cup of Coffee to Lunch the JAVA Executable
