BSLA Stakeholders Workshop

The BSLA Stakeholders Workshop held in Yaoundé, Cameroon on April 27-28, 2012 aimed to foster effective collaboration among stakeholders for ABADCAM. OBJECTIVES • Establish an effective collaboration platform for ABADCAM • Identify National development objectives (Vision 2035) • Identify potential stakeholders for ABADCAM • Identify possible areas of collaboration in relation to national development strategies • Identify sustainability strategies for the collaboration • Develop an Action Plan

WORKSHOP OUTLINE • Identify Government development objectives: Vision 2035 • Overview on role of Libraries in national development • Progress report on ABADCAM activities • Presentations from stakeholders (activities, role in national development) • Identify areas of collaboration/strategies • Identify sustainability strategies for collaboration • Develop and Action Plan
