  3. Grooming You should brush your cat every once and a while if it is a Shorthair. You should brush it a lot if it is a Longhair. But don’t let it lick itself too much or it will develop a Hairball! Now lets talk about clipping a cats nails. If your cat isn't used to getting its nails clipped it will struggle to escape you.

  4. The easiest way to trim their nails is with a scratching post with cat - nip on it. BEWARE: Clipping your cats nails too much is bad they have veins in their nails!

  5. Care Let your cat do stuff it wants to, it will be more friendly! Cat toys are optional Cats won’t need them to live! Some cats relax, scratch things or just take naps all day! If they stare at you with their big cute* eyes they want to be pet. Don’t scold them too much. Don’t praise them too much either. *Opinion

  7. Health The world is dangerous for a cat. They can get sick, ran over, or lost. NEVER let a cat outside if your cat is sick or about to be tell your vet! NEVER EVER let a kitten out! I guarantee it will die. If you are not interested in breeding get your cat neutered or spayed if you don’t it will have lots of pain.

  8. Food Kitties eat kibble! Kitten chow is for KITTENS ONLY! If your cat eats that and grows up you will need Cat chow! (same as kitten chow but for adult cats) don’t change your cats diet it is bad

  9. Litter box Cats will not use the litter box if it is near the cats food! Litter absorbs cat waste. Clean the litter box every week. (7 days) Cats don’t like getting filthy from litter so it won’t use the litter box for a while. They use the litter box because the have to. Want to know the best place to put your litter box? In your restroom!
