Also, to assure that each player on the Panther’s roster receive a fair chance to play based on hard work and qualifications and receive an opportunity to move on to a higher compensated job within their chosen profession. Kevin believes that everyone deserves a chance at making his dream a reality. Kevin began his financial career in public accounting with the formerly known Coopers & Lybrand Certified Public Accountants, Detroit, Michigan office (now known as Price Waterhouse Coopers), and from there, built a business service organization specializing in accounting, taxation, and management consulting. Kevin has an extensive background in real estate. In brevity, his experience ranges from buying, selling, and managing residential (single family and multi-family) as well as commercial buildings. He has a proven history in financing real estate projects as well. After many successful years of public and private practice and other business ventures, Kevin decided it was time to combine all business efforts into a more efficient and economical manner to provide services and control business growth. Thus, in the spring of 2005, he consolidated all his business interests into one entity called The Carter Organization, Inc. The Carter Organization serves as a holding company chaired by Kevin. Its primary function is to own and manage a conglomerate of companies consisting of business services (accounting, taxation), management advisory services (turnaround management and business consulting), real estate investments (buy, sell, and manage property), retail, and professional sports/entertainment organizations. Kevin, a native Detroiter, graduated with honors from Detroit East Catholic High School in 1984.
