  21. At 17 At 21 At 51 I was an atheist in my teens. Nothing about church, religion, or Christianity seemed real or relevant. If there were a God it didn’t make sense that he would allow so much suffering. And if there were a God, he made it pretty easy for atheists since he never showed up anywhere in my life. I looked at every church building as a monument to hypocrisy.
