  1. Procedure of Linksys Extender Setup Setting up the Linksys Wi-Fi Extender is easy with its browser-based setup feature. There’s no need for an installation software or setup CD. Before you start the Linksys extender setup process, ensure the following: The Linksys extender should be plugged into a power outlet. Using a computer or a mobile device, connect your device to the range extender Open a web browser, then enter "http://extender.linksys.com". Then click on "start setup". You also have an active Wi-Fi connection. Select your wi-fi connection. Enter your Wi-Fi password in the field, then click Next. Create an admin password to secure your Linksys extender. You may also add a password hint. Your will be given the option to Register your product. Enter your Email Address then click next.
