  2. Bishop’s 100 Net Challenge! Protective mosquito bednets help families in Africa prevent malaria – a fully preventable disease which kills a child every minute. One net costs only $10 – purchased and delivered through Lutheran congregations in Africa to families in their community. Bishop Mauney has set a goal for the 155 Lutheran congregations in Virginia to each raise enough funds to purchase 100 Nets by World Malaria Sunday (April 27th, 2014). This means 15,500 African families can get nets this year thanks to your giving. Help us help others by giving to the ELCA Malaria Campaign! Thank you!!!
