  3. Quadratic Formula • This formula can be used to solve ANY quadratic equation (find x-intercepts, roots, solutions, and zeros). • The function must be in standard form y = ax2 + bx + c 0 = ax2 + bx + c • a, b and c are the coefficients of each term.

  4. y = x2 + 3x + 2 a = b = c=

  5. y = x2 – 5x + 6 a = b = c=

  6. y = 2x2 – x – 7 a = b = c=

  7. y = 4x2 – 12x + 9 a = b = c=

  8. y = 2x2 + 6x + 5 a = b = c=
