Teacher Notes. • This Powerpoint is designed as a starting point to stimulate ideas on “creativity”. It’s not intended to use it in its entirety, but to use slides appropriate for your own group. • The approach used as it stands is to show the opening slide of Ken Grange – ask who knows who he is, talk about his company, Pentagram, and some of his products, discuss how one man could know so much from the workings of a camera to a high speed train – obviously he can’t. He’s a creative thinker, a stylist, he depends on the team around him to do apply the detail.
Slides 14 to 19 look at some inspirational ‘A Level’ projects to discuss with your group. • The remainder of the slides are there to create discussion, they are all products which have had patents filed for them, so are in the market place and some will never get there – they are all genuine creative ideas.
Kenneth Grange - Designer. • Who knows of his company or any of his products? • PENTAGRAM • High Speed Train • Revamped London Taxi • Disposable Razor • Instamatic Camera. • Kenwood Chef
