  1. Casinos Effective and efficient rostering or labor management within a Casino can be very time consuming and complicated, if not managed efficiently it can be very costly to the bottom line. Labor is one of the biggest controllable expenses. Easy Roster is the only system on the market that breaks shifts down to the task level which allows you to manage your labor as efficiently as possible which in turn translates to labor $$$$ savings. To understand your labor needs you need to understand your business volumes (KVI). For Table Games that’s Hands In Play (HIP)/Table Utilization. For Slots its Machine In Play (MIP) or Events per hour. Using your historical KVI’s Easy Roster can project your table spreads and your labor needs based on game type & ratios by hour and because we are at the task level by hour we can breakdown an 8hr shift into 8 hourly increments and allocate labor to multiple locations & tasks. This ensures that labor hours wastage is at its minimum which translates into labor $$$$ savings. Easy Roster ensures that you have the right people at the right place at the right time with the right skills. Dynamic Floor Plan functionality gives you a graphical representation of your gaming floor. Breakers/Swings can rotate through different game types and Easy Roster will automatically determine the skills mix needed to fill the demand. Pit Managers can use the Smart Pit program which allows you to open/close tables in minutes and re-allocate staff with the drag and drop functionality.

  2. During daily operations Easy Roster can dynamically update you on an hourly bases using your KVI data whether to open more tables by game type or close tables. Easy Roster handles Higher Duties/Lower Duties, multi skills, proficiencies, table limits and many other criteria. For Slot operations Easy Roster uses your historical KVI data Machines in Play (MIP) to determine your labor needs based on your labor & guest service standards. Our F&B and Hotel functionality is also miles ahead of our competitors. As all labor needed is determined based on KVI data and your labor standards. Easy Roster holds labor standards by position by location and uses that matrix to forecast labor based on your KVI data. Again this is done at the task level by hour. The Easy Roster system will provide valuable information to make good economical, viable decisions. Matching employees to workload efficiently, reduces down time, is cost effective, improves productivity and customer service, increasing service delivery.

Forecasting - Slots Using your historical KVI data (MIP) Easy Roster will forecast your business volumes (Green) There are a number of different criteria that can be used (Yearly Avg, Recent Trend (3mths), Avg Yearly Trend) After forecasting the volumes the system will then forecast your labor by position needed to cover these projected volumes using your labor standards (Yellow) Labor Standard used : MIP/50 + min 1 Labor Standard is based on your business model.

  7. Leave Planner Leave Planner gives you a overview of all booked/taken leave. Leave applied for thru the kiosk by staff flows thru to the Leave Planner. There are a number of ways that Managers can be notified of leave applications (email, SMS, notification in system). Leave can be set to automatically be approved by system based on certain criteria or Managers can approve/reject leave from this screen.

Forecasting – Non Gaming Using your historical KVI data (Covers, Call Volumes, Check-In/Check-Out, Cars parked/pulled etc) Easy Roster will forecast your business volumes (Green) There are a number of different criteria that can be used. After forecasting the volumes the system will then forecast your labor by position needed to cover these projected volumes using your labor standards (Yellow) Labor Standards are determined based on your business model.

  9. Task Manager Having determined your labor needs based on your forecast business volumes Easy Roster will then generate the Tasks by (15,30 or 60 min) increments based on your setup for each positions by shift.

  10. Roster Manager Having determined the Tasks by position Easy Roster will allocate the roster taking into consideration TM’s shift patterns/availabilities/skills/proficiencies etc to create the most cost efficient roster.

  11. Employee Kiosk The Easy Roster Employee Kiosk provides TM’s the ability to access their Roster/Apply for Leave/Swap Shifts/Log Availabilities using a PC/Tablet/Smart Phone from anywhere with internet access.
