  2. Education • Imagine if every child in Burundi could have education. There would be no more poverty, disease, and everything else that has a negative impact there. This is what One Laptop Per Child does.

  3. Why Pick My Cause? • Education is the foundation to solve the other problems. For example, if you give a child a bar of soap, they might eat the soap, but if you also give them education, they will use it to clean themselves and fight disease in their community. The laptops are also designed to pass moisture tests, drop tests and soil tests. They are perfect for children in poor countries. • Laptops provide a more enriching experience for the child because they have all the traditional materials plus new tools like the internet.
