Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts, which wage war against the soul.

  5. What Is Important? Colossians 3:11 In this new life one's nationality or race or education or social position is unimportant; such things mean nothing. Whether a person has Christ is what matters, and he is equally available to all. (TLB)

  14. 7 Compartments of the Soul’s Stream of Consciousness 1. The frame of reference compartment is the location where truth first enters the heart. It is also the location from which truth is processed to other compartments of the heart. 2. The vocabulary compartment is the location that stores words and phrases with which we think. Vocabulary is required to think, you cannot think without vocabulary. 3. The categorized truth compartment is the location that stores information by subject . 4. The memory center compartment is the location into which truth enters from other areas of the stream of consciousness at the moment of recall. Recall is necessary for application of truth to life situations.

  15. 7 Compartments of the Soul’s Stream of Consciousness 5. The conscience compartment is the location that stores information accepted as true. This information forms the norms and standards of life. Your norms and standards are developed through social, academic and spiritual training. 6. The momentum compartment is the location that establishes an individual’s level of growth and maturity based on the amount of truth learned and the amount of truth applied. 7. The wisdom compartment is the location from which all truth is applied to life situations. It is the launching pad from which all truth is applied.

Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, on the one hand I myself with my mind am serving the law of God, but on the other, with my flesh the law of sin.

The only time you will be able to hear that “still small voice” of the spirit, the “voice” that has no sound, the voice by which He leads and guides us in this “Christian” life, is when you are yielded to the Holy Spirit. The only time there will be true praise and thanksgiving, the kind of praise and thanksgiving that reaches the throne room of God, is when you are yielded to the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:18-21 6. The only time we will truly sense that we are the children of God is when we are yielded to the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:16 7. The only time our prayer life will have any affect is when we are yielded to the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:26
