Boulder Civic Area East Bookend Development City of Boulder 2017 Capital Tax Renewal • Current Phase 1 Park Development Funded Through First CCS Tax Initiative (2014) Has Been Delivered to Catalyze Future Enhancements • High-priority projects supported by the community are proposed to continue the transformation through access, safety and vibrant programming. • Provides Community Partnership Opportunities With BMoCA, Farmers’ Market and Others.

Boulder Civic Area East Bookend Development • Concept Plans Developed and Ready To Proceed to Final Design Process With Community Involvement, Boards, Commissions and City Council • Provides a multi-generational and multi-cultural public space within the heart of Boulder to address safety, access and uniquely Boulder programs and uses. City of Boulder 2017 Capital Tax Renewal • Rigorous Community Involvement, Board Recommendation and City Council Support Through Vision Plan (2013), Master Plan (2015) and Park Construction (2016) • Completes Current CCS Investments Including Arapahoe Underpass Enhancement, Creek Path Improvements and Park Development.

Boulder Civic Area East Bookend Development • $8M Proposed Phase 2 Will: • Complete Central Park Renovation • 13th Streetscape Improvements To Better Accommodate Markets, Events, Arts/Cultural Festivals, Access and Safety • Provide Public Restrooms and Visitor Amenities Within Current Atrium Building • Enhance Irrigation Ditch and Path Improvements to Connect Eastward. • Support Future Opportunities Including: • 5. Potential Parking and Access Enhancements • 6. Accommodate BMoCA Enhancement • 7. Provide for 14th Street Transit Enhancements • 8. Integrate with Canyon Complete Street • 9. Allow Future Civic Uses and Facilities City of Boulder 2017 Capital Tax Renewal
