A FATHER I CAN FOLLOW (A THIRST FOR GOD). PSALM 42. PSALM 42:1-2. “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?”. True faith should be marked by a hungering and thirsting for God.

  2. PSALM 42:1-2 “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?”

  3. True faith should be marked by a hungering and thirsting for God. 1. ENCOURAGEMENTS---

  4. 1. ENCOURAGEMENTS “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you.” declares the LORD.” Jeremiah 29:13-14

  5. PSALM 63:1 “O God , you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water.”

  6. MATTHEW 5:6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”

  17. EXCUSES Thorny soil---”The one who received the seed that fell among the thorns is the man who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke it, making it unfruitful.” Matt. 13:22

  18. True faith should be marked by a hungering and thirsting after God “This is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” John 17:3
