  3. The Statue of Liberty • The Statue of Liberty was France's gift to America. Built in 1886, it remains a famous world symbol of freedom and one of the greatest American icons. It is one of the world's largest statues, standing just under 152 feet tall from the base to the torch, and weighing approximately 450,000 pounds. • You can see the statue from land, with particularly good views from Battery Park, on the southern tip of Manhattan. However, to truly appreciate the Statue of Liberty, the best thing to do is to take a short boat trip to Liberty Island and see it up close. You can walk around the base, enter the pedestal, or, with advance reservations, go right up to the crown.

  4. Brooklyn Bridge Brooklyn Bridge is one of the oldest hanging islands in the United States, located in New York City. Connects New York's Borough Manhattan and Brooklyn. The length is 1825 meters and the width is 26 meters. First, the bridge was named New York and Brooklyn Bridge (English, New York and Brooklyn Bridge). Since 1915 it has received its current name. The opening of the bridge took place in May 1883. The bridge is designed not only for cars, but also for pedestrians. Vladimir Mayakovsky confessed to one of his veterans.

  5. The museum was established in 1928 with the support of the Rockefeller family in six Manhattan offices. The first director of the museum was the artist Alfred Barr. The collection of the museum includes such works, without which it is hard to imagine the 20th century art. Such as Van Gogh's "A Night from A Star", Henri Matis's "Dancing", Pablo Picasso's "Avignon's Girls", Salvador Dali's Memory Still, Brinkushi's "Bird in Space". The current building of the museum began in 1939. In the 1950s it was rebuilt by Philip Johnson in an international style. As a result of the renovations of the 1980s and 2000s, the area of the museum has grown several times.
