  2. What we do Established over 40 years ago to help our members succeed in business, we are a non profit making organisation that’s run by members, for members. The FSB exists to provide a Big Voice for all small businesses, but only members enjoy our exclusive benefits.

Rights of Membership - legal • 24/7 Legal Advice Line – free unlimited access • Specialist support for topics such as Employment Law, Health and Safety, Business and Consumer Law • Team of over 60 solicitors and barristers • Legal defence* in disputes including: • Employment tribunals (including awards) • Health and Safety and Trading Standards prosecutions • Statutory licence disputes (e.g. Taxi, Care Homes) • Data Protection Act • Personal Injury * Subject to terms and conditions available before joining, up to £100,000 New Benefit for 2017!

Who can become a Member? • Any one who is self employed or has their own business • Membership is personal – covering any business of which you are a director, partner or owner • Business partners or fellow directors of a Full Member can join as an Associate Member for only £62.50* pa. • Associates enjoy the same benefits, but will only cover the Full Member’s businesses • 12 month membership from date of joining starts at £142.50* pa • Costs reflect “not for profit” status – incredible value for money • *£30 registration fee payable in the first year only.
