  2. What is internet crime • Computer crime refers to any crime that involves a computer and a network. The computer may have been used to do the crime, or it may be the target.

  3. Types of internet crime • Examples of internet crime would be, spam, fraud, harassment, threats, drug trafficking and cyber terrorisms are some of many crimes used on the internet.

  4. What is a telecommunications crime • Telecommunication crimes are when someone hacks into a telephone line or cell phone, this is known as wiretapping.

  6. computer hacker • A computer hacker is someone who can hack into another network or computer.

  7. Kevin Mitnick Kevin Mitnick was convicted of various computer and communications crimes. At the time of his arrest, he was the most wanted computer criminal in the United States.

  8. Money stolen from school in usa • On aprill 12th 2013 authorities say a group of cyber criminals hacked into the Downingtown school district's bank account and stole $665,000. • The money was returned to the account a few weeks later.

  9. Why do people think these activities are not internet crimes. Usually the FBI doesn't mind if you make a single copy of a CD.The FBI are going after people who are making multiple copies of the same CD and selling it for profit. That is illegal.

  11. Making an internet crime by mistake • Many people all over the world are committing technology crimes and they dont even realise they are doing it. An example of this would be downloading a movie or music from websites.

  12. Why should people be careful about internet crimes • People should be careful of internet crimes because they may come with very big consequences, like credit card details being stolen or someone could hack into your network these are two reasons to be careful on the internet.

  13. Ways to secure our computer systems • Some ways to stop viruses and other crimes being used against your computer would be to use security programs on your networking system and computers and use anti-viruses.

  14. Preventing Crime • There are many ways to prevent getting viruses or getting hacked. • Some ways are to not download anything on the internet, and remember to update security for your network/computer.
