Important Information for Trip Registration and Selection Criteria

Ensure a successful registration for your upcoming trip by understanding the selection criteria, which includes good academic performance, excellent conduct grade, strong teacher recommendations, and good performance during the interview. Check with parents about trip consent and commit fully to preparation and post-trip meetings. Follow the registration procedure on the ISP and submit the hardcopy application essay to the college reception. For any difficulties, contact Mr. Michael Wong for assistance. Financial aid is available upon request.

  1. IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR REGISTRATION

  2. Selection Criteria • Good academic performance • Excellent conduct grade • Strong teacher recommendation • Good performance during selection interview *Please be prepared for the interview.

  3. Before you register… • Check with your parents to ensure that they will allow you to go on the trip • Once you apply for the trip, it is assumed that you will be able to committo the entire duration of preparation, trip and post trip meetings

  4. Registration Procedure • Log into the ISP under Student Admin • Register under the tab OCIP & OOEP • Check under www.hci.sg/HCIWeb/ocip&oe - “Events Calender” for OCIP & OE trips registration dates. *Use Internet Explorer

  5. Registration Procedure • Submit a hardcopy of your application essay to the college reception, before online application ends. Please include the following information at the top of the page. • Name • Class • Trips applied for • Remind your CT to log onto ISP to key in teacher’s comment.

  6. Please Note • Choose your trips wisely, you will be randomly allocated to one of the two trips of your choice • Late submission will not be considered • For more information, refer to SMB.

  7. Registration Procedure • If you face difficulties with the online registration • Capture the error on the screen and send the picture file to Mr Michael Wong (wongsy@hci.edu.sg) • State your name and class in the e-mail • Submit your essay to the college reception as per normal • You will be informed once you can register again
