Kodiak Large crew doors on both sides of the aircraft
Kodiak Large split cargo door with built in steps offering easy loading of passengers or cargo. The lower door will drop down vertically allowing a vehicle to drive up next to the aircraft.
Kodiak The only FAA factory certified jump plane in the world. Pilot operated jump door. (Normal door will still install without removing the jump door.) This is also beneficial for special operations for being able to drop rafts or life jackets during search & rescue or mounting a minigun for military ops, or dropping supplies.

Kodiak - Floats Superior performance on floats. (Gets off the water in only 40% of the time/distance of a Caravan). Designed for 20,000 hour airframe lift on floats with no modifications.
Kodiak – Air Ambulance Air ambulance with one or two fully equipped beds. Great performance for landing at remote sites or even on roads or the beach. Use amphibious floats for a water borne air ambulance.
Kodiak – Air Ambulance Additional EMS data: There are two companies that offer medical interiors. The differences are very small between them. If this project were to tie in with other medical aircraft it would make sense to use the same system. The medical interior can be built into the aircraft or be modular. Portable medical equipment can also be provided or that can be sourced locally or through other channels.

Kodiak History Quest Aircraft Company is an American aircraft manufacturing company located in Sandpoint, Idaho. In 1998 Tom Hamilton, founder of kitplane success story Stoddard-Hamilton Aircraft, makers of the Glasair lineup came up with a plan to create an airplane specially suited for remote / rugged operations. In their mind that meant an airplane that could haul a large load in and out of short, rough strips while burning jet fuel and complaining very little about the abuse. Not that those kinds of bush planes didn't exist; they did and do. But costs and/or age are major concerns. The fleet is filled with standout designs such as the Cessna 185, Helio Courier and de Havilland Beaver that were first built 50 years ago and last produced a quarter of a century ago. And those airplanes, while legendarily rugged and capable, depend on hard-to-find 100LL. Moreover, they are often expensive to keep in the air, and they can't typically carry the kind of load a turbine-powered airplane can. By 2001 Quest had begun operations in Sandpoint, Idaho. Today Quest, headed by CEO Paul Schaller, is a for-profit company with 250 full-time. It received its Type Certificate for the Kodiak on May 30, 2007 and its Production Certificate on September 15, 2009.
Support The Kodiak is a very supportable aircraft. Many of the components used in each aircraft are from widely respected venders with very good global support. There are no specialized / custom electronic modules that are impossible to support without the OEM assistance or technology transfer. The engine is a PT6A for which there is already a good global support base. The Kodiak comes with Garmin 1000 avionics. The manufacture directly or though their dealers offer 24/7 technical support and have large parts supplies ready for shipment. Spares support for many years is assured.
Delivery Schedule Depending on the special missions equipment desired and the level of modifications required to support that equipment, we estimate being able to deliver within 6 – 12 months from receipt of contract and deposit. (Certain mission equipment may have significant lead times from their vendors. This, along with the level of certification requested, could impact delivery or those items may be installed in country.)
Raptor Aviation, LLC The Kodiak offesr a great value for the customer. Numerous options, modifications, and mission equipment are available to meet specific mission requirements. Much of the special missions equipment is modular allowing it’s installation / removal. This allows the aircraft to quickly be reconfigured for other types of missions.
