Modernized Education Initiative in Maamendhoo School

  2. NEW MAAMENDHOO SCHOOL PROJECT – 2012 – (NMSP) This program is a school level program for 2012 targeting to: • Start single session schooling • Provide Holistic Education • Cost cutting with modern technology

Start single session schooling • New 4classroom building on. • Total 11 classes. • 178 students. • Head of School • 2 leading teachers. • 7 local permanent teachers. • 2 local contracted teachers. • 7 foreign teachers. • 1 JICA volunteer. • 3 Administration Officers. • 1 Librarian. • 1 Computer Technician. • 2 Laborers Total 27 staff.

  4. 2. Provide Holistic Education • Focusing on: • Mind ( classes, exams, home science, etc ) • Body ( exercise, sports, etc ) • Spirit ( religion, nationality, etc )

  5. 3. Cost cutting with modern technology • Staff e-mail communication • School website • Network sharing • internet to classes • PC for each staff • Reducing paper work (lesson plan, record sheets, performance sheets, etc)
