HabitatThe turtles areprimarily found in the open ocean as far north as Alaska and as far south as the tip of Africa.
Identification Back is mostly black with variable degrees of white or paler spotting. Only sea turtle that does not have a hard shell.
Reproduction Every 2 or 3 years a female lays 80 large eggs and 30 small eggs. They take 65 days to hatch.
