  2. Who & why? • I chose John Sexton because I really like his black and white landscapes. I also like how he takes his shots very far away so you can see everything in the picture.

  3. Where did he live? • John Sexton was born in 1953 and lived in Maywood, California. His interest in photography began in the 1960’s.

  4. School? • John Sexton went to college at Cypress College and graduated with honors in Associate of Arts. He also attended Chapman University and graduated with departmental honors and got his Bachelor of Art degree there.

  5. Why photography? • John Sexton’s love for photography was when he saw film being developed in a friends enlarger. A week later he had his very own enlarger in his room.

  6. Facts of interest; • In 1976 he took up teaching at Cypress College in California • In 1993 his photographs were used in national advertising campaigns by Bank of America and General Motors • John Sexton is a consultant for Kodak
