1. Student Finance Tour Graduate Presenter Make a difference to young people across the UK! Exciting opportunity for seventeen recent graduates in England to be involved in an inspirational education initiative. You must be: a recent graduate, who is self-motivated, with an outgoing, energetic personality and excellent presentation skills. You must also have a clean British driving license and be a confident driver. The Student Finance Tour aims to communicate accurate information to young people 15 -18 years old about the student finance package which came into effect in England in September 2012. in order for young people to make informed decisions about their future, we want to increase their awareness of the financial support available. It is also important to make them aware of the benefits and value that university can bring and to ensure that they know where to go for further information and advice. The Government sponsored Student Finance Tour will visit secondary schools, FE and sixth form colleges to speak to students from Y9 to Y13, and their parents. During the Autumn and Winter terms of 2012/2013 we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated presenters who have the ability to inspire large groups of young people about the benefits of higher education and the financial support available. Your role will be to travel around the region delivering an informative and fast-paced presentation. A vehicle will be provided to successful applicants for work-related use only.
