This report provides an in-depth review and update of the Greater Dublin Area (GDA) Retail Strategy, originally adopted in November 2001. It evaluates significant economic and population growth, new policies, and regional planning guidelines that have emerged in the GDA. The aim is to develop a competitive retail sector while maintaining the viability of existing centers. Key components include assessments of demand, supply, policy reviews, and surveys of households, young people, and tourists, ultimately shaping the vision for retail in the GDA.
