  1. POST MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. 1. INSTALLING THE POST - Dig a hole to the desired depth (we suggest that the post is about 200mm in the ground). - Place the post in the hole ensuring the correct orientation so that the letter box will face the street. - Place crushed rock or aggregate at the base of the post. Make sure the post is up straight, (for best results we suggest using a spirit level). - Mix the concrete and fill the hole with the mix allowing it to set. Refer to the instructions on the concrete packaging for the concrete curing time. ENSURE THREADED INSERTS ARE FACING THE STREET 2. SETTING THE MOUNTING SCREWS - Once the concrete is set, then you are ready to attach the letterbox. - Using the fasteners provided preset the middle screw by fastening it and leaving a 2-4mm gap from the insert head. This middle screw can be tightened after installation. - You can preset the bottom 2 screws but this is optional as the middle screw will hold the letterbox in place firmly. 200 mm 2. 2-4 mm preset middle screw bottom 2 are optional

ATTACHING THE NEWSPAPER HOLDER - Using the 2 x M4 screws provided (these are the smaller ones), align the holes on the newspaper holder with the threaded clinch nuts on the bottom of the letterbox and tighten using a long screw driver. 4. LETTERBOX - Hook the letterbox onto the preset screws on the post. - Use the final 2 x M5 screws to fasten the through the top 2 holes on the letterbox to the corresponding threaded inserts on the post. 4.
