  1. How to play Lotto in New Zealand Lotto, Powerball and Strike Lotto Results Lotto, Powerball and Strike are the games to play if you want the chance to win big prizes.   2. To play Lotto, you need six numbers (from 1 to 40) to make a line on your ticket. You need to play at least four lines to enter a draw. You can pick your own numbers or play a Dip, where random numbers are chosen by the Lotto NZ system. At each live Lotto draw six winning Lotto numbers plus one bonus ball are drawn. There are seven Lotto Prize Divisions. Division 1 is the top prize. To win Division 1 you need to match all six winning Lotto numbers on a single line of your ticket.   3. Match any of the first four Lotto balls​ in the order that they’re drawn to win with Strike – match all four and you’ve won the top prize, Strike Four! The winning numbers must be on the same line of your ticket. You can add Strike to any Lotto or Powerball ticket or play on its own for just $1 per line. Add a Powerball to any Lotto line to be in to win the big Powerball jackpot. To play Powerball, you need to add a Powerball number between 1 and 10 to each line of your Lotto ticket. If a winning Lotto line also has the correct Powerball number, your prize gets even bigger.

  4. WAYS TO PLAY LOTTO BUY A DIP Dips are the easy, no fuss way to play. There is ​‘Lotto Lucky Dip’​, ​Power Dip​ (Lotto + Powerball) or ​Triple Dip (Lotto + Powerball + Strike). Simply pick the Dip you would like to play and the Lotto Shop computer terminal will select random numbers for you. Or PICK YOUR OWN NUMBERS

  5. Using the in store lotto selection card simply pick six numbers between 1 and 40 for each line of Lotto.
