  3. The adjective (describing word) becomes an adverb (tells you more about the verb)e.g.The tortoise walked very slowly. verb adverb

  4. Most adjectives add ‘ly’ to make an adverb. If the adjective ends in ‘y’ change the ‘y’ to ‘I’ before adding ‘ly’ Examples. Secret + ly = secretly Sleepy + ly = sleepily.

  5. Try these! usual angry weary easy happy careful Choose one of these and put it in a sentence. IMPRESS ME!
