This report discusses preliminary results from the new spoiler setup tested as of June 15, 2010. The new design offers greater repeatability, eliminates preloading, and ensures a return to zero baseline. Sensitivity in baseline testing has improved, with initial drag data collected at speeds of 20, 25, 30, and 35 m/s. Systematic testing is planned for a 30-degree back angle with various spoiler positions. Data was gathered by averaging 20 points over three runs for both conditions (with and without the spoiler) at each speed.
