  1. Blog: Luciemedispa.com How To Pick The Right Spa? A trip to the spa can be bliss if you are stressed out. Whether it is massage therapy in Mississauga, facial, manicure, or sometime spent in the sauna; a spa’s staff works hard to make you feel pampered and relaxed. A trip to the spa is a good idea to feel reinvigorated, but how do you know if a particular spa is a right place for you? Just because the place calls itself a spa does not necessarily mean that it offers the specific services you are looking for. Though spas have to realize the state licensing requirements, there aren’t any universal certifications for them. Some spas may offer advanced services like yoga, laser hair removal and beauty treatments, but the most common services a spa can offer you are:  therapeutic massage  manicures and pedicures  Body wraps  facial treatments  Hydrotherapy, steam or sauna. If you are a first timer, the spa staff will guide you through the various services and procedures. It's a good idea to be guided about things, but it still advised to check the cost of services on the “menu” before booking an appointment. Some spas can be reasonably expensive, and some may be void of quality and sanitation. Apart from all things, the “special services” like laser hair treatments and specialized therapeutic massages should be conducted in the presence of a physician or qualified esthetician. It is strictly recommended to drop in and explore the services and quality before you swap your credit card.
