  2. LEARNING OUTCOMES • Agar mahasiswa memahami arti self esteem • Agar mahasiswa dapat meningkatkan self esteem dirinya • Agar mahasiswa menjadi orang yang percaya diri

  3. SELF ESTEEM Pengertian : Self esteem adalah hasil penilaian diri kita sendiri. Kita yang menilai, tapi kadang-kadang penilaian kita adalah hasil dari membandingkan dengan orang lain. Dalam melakukan penilaian, siapa atau apa yang menjadi tolok ukur kita?

Actual Self • Hasil pengenalan diri • Bisa berupa kenyataan  tinggi badan 160 cm, berat badan 40 kg, dll. • Bisa berupa dugaan  sepertinya saya termasuk orang yang pemalu, dll yg diawali dengan sepertinya. • Bisa berupa pendapat  dgn tinggi badan 160 cm, dan berat badan 40 kg, menurut saya gemuk.

  6. Ideal Self • Cita – cita / Gambaran diri yang sempurna • Hasil membandingkan diri dengan orang lain. • Hasil pengamatan terhadap hal-hal yang ada di sekitar kita. • Tolok ukur kita terhadap suatu hal  sukses, prestasi, mapan. • Ideal self berhubungan dengan budaya, norma, dan nilai-nilai.

GAP • Semakin kecil gap antara actual self dan ideal self  tingkat kepuasan terhadap diri sendiri jadi lebih besar sehingga penilaian diri jadi lebih tinggi • Semakin besar gap antara actual self dan ideal self  tingkat kepuasan terhadap diri sendiri jadi semakin kecil sehingga penilaian diri jadi rendah
