This study investigates the effect of ethanol washing on the hydrolysis yield potential of sorghum samples. The results demonstrate that the ethanol wash does not significantly impact the hydrolysis yield, indicating that this pretreatment step may not be necessary for optimizing sorghum processing. Understanding the interactions between pretreatment methods and yield outcomes is crucial for developing more efficient biofuel production processes from sorghum biomass.
