  3. 118th Airlift Wing Date Injury 8 Aug Walked into bench – Contusion 14 Nov 6 injuries Fire – Inhalation of Fire Extinguisher Fumes 20 Mar Slammed car door on hand – Contusion to hand 28 Mar Aircraft Steps – Twisted Left Ankle 29 Mar Handling Machinery – Lower Back Strain 7 May Shut hand in car door – Left Hand/Wrist

  4. 134th Airlift Wing Date Injury 11 Jul Lifting boxed equipment – Back Strain 11 Sep Lifting boxed equipment – Back Strain 19 Sep Working on or around vehicle – Back Strain 11 Oct Driving vehicle – Broken Finger 01 Nov Using powered tools – Laceration 14 May Laceration to forehead

  6. Total Cost to the Air Technician Program All monies spent in 2007 for OWCP will come out of the 2009 budget. If a CA-16 is issued, OWCP will charge us for the medical bills, even if the case is denied. All Cost (including long term rolls) $265,966.09

  7. COP used • 19 injured employees have used a total of 215 hours (29.37 days) of COP • Lost Production Cost: $5,625.12 (not included in OWCP cost)

  8. Total Cost of Injuries for FY 2007 • Medical $43,521.70 • Compensation $222,444.39 • Lost Production $5,625.12 • Total $271,591.21
