  8. Basic Photography A hobby is an activity that people indulge in their leisure. It can be anything from as simple as paper-folding to telescopic viewing. Everyone needs a hobby as a form of relaxation. Students especially need to do something that could give them a break from their studies so that they would not be so stressed up.

  9. Basic Photography My favourite hobby is photography. I developed the interest quite by accident during my sister’s ten-year old birthday. I had no idea what the aperture, viewfinder or flash was but mum’s hands were soiled and I was asked to take a photo of Jannelle blowing the candles.

  10. Basic Photography “Use the macro-mode,” said dad as everything had been pre-set. My hands were as steady as the tripod as I snapped a few shots of that memorable scene. After that night, I became so fascinated with the wonders that cameras could do that in the weeks to come, the standard 12GB memory card capacity was insufficient for my usage.

  11. Basic Photography Since then, I had participated in many photography competitions and won many awards. My teachers are proud of me and friends are envious of my achievements but not many know how many obstacles I faced in my journey as a budding photographer. In fact, my parents were not supportive of me pursing this hobby in the beginning because they said it was an expensive hobby. Yadayada ……
