  4. What is your level of Family History Experience? • Do you have a LDS.org account? • Do you have a computer? • How long have you use the Family History website, when was the last time you used it? • Do you have records on ancestors- Pictures, Birth certificates, death certificates?

  6. What Is Family History? • Gather information to identify your ancestors. • Record information about your ancestors to link them into families. • Perform temple ordinances for your ancestors who have not yet received them.

  7. Setting up a LDS.ORG account

  8. Setting up a LDS.ORG account • Obtain your membership record # from the Ward Clerk, and old Tithing settlement statement or your Temple Recommend. • Go to LDS.org and click the “signin/tools” link on the top.

  9. Enter in your Membership Record number and answer the questions to create your user name and password.
