  2. #1 Deception: Joshua 9:12-15, Eph. 6:14-17 • #2 Temptation: Psalm 119:11 • #3 Accusations: Rev. 12:10, Micah 7:19 • Psalm 18:1-3, 16-19 1. We Face Powerful Opposition Us v.1-7

  3. God fights for us… we do not do it alone • - 1 Kings 18:33-38 • God's power is truly unlimited • - 2 Corinthians 4:7 • God is fighting beside you. • - Phil. 2:12-13 2. Nothing Is To Difficult For God v.8-11,13

  4. God isn’t intimidated by long-shot prayers. • If you’re going to pray for God to make the sun stand still, you’d better be ready to march all night. • While We Wait… 3. We Must Pray Confidently And Expectantly v.12,14

  5. 13 Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise. 14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them prayover him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. 15 And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. 16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. 18 Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit. James 5

  6. And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb. And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb. By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,and its gates will never be shut by day and there will be no night there. Revelation 21:22-25
