State of Maranhão, Brazil Working with Plan Brazil, CPP has held activities in 5 municipalities across the State of Maranhão including: Sao Luis, Codó, Peritoró, San José de Ribamar, and Timbiras. The recent passing of a law regulating “Lanhouses” (internet cafes) in the region shows positive movement through regulatory legislative bodies in the State. However, most Lanhouses operate informally which makes the communication regarding this new legislation difficult.
