  2. What is the most famous structure(s) in Egypt ? The Pyramids of Giza are the most famous structure. (They are some of the manmade wonders of the world.)

  3. What organs are in the tombs of the mummies? All of the organs were taken out of their bodies to be preserved for the afterlife.

  4. What is the population of Egypt? The population of Egypt is: 77,680,000 according to the December Census 2009.

  5. Is there a tunnel from the sphinx to the Pyramids of Giza. Yes there is. It is rumoured that there is a place under the Sphinx ad Pyramids of Giza, it is called the Hall Of Records.

  6. What are the surrounding countries? The only surrounding country is Libya, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, Jordan & Israel.

  7. How long is the Egyptian part of the Nile? UNKNOWN! But the length of the whole Nile is 6695 kilometres. The Nile is the longest river in the world.

  8. What is the area of Egypt? Egypt has a total area of 997,739 square miles.

  9. When were the pyramids of Giza built? The pyamids of Giza were built in the fourth in the fourth dynasty. It took 20 years to construct. Plus the Great pyramid is 146 .5 metres in length.

  10. What was the most famous torture? There are many! One of the worst ones was when they tied you up and locked you in a sarcophagus with scorpions. In this torture they sawed through their heads.

  11. What is the capital of Egypt? The capital of Egypt is Cairo which has around 20 million people; 25% of Egypt’s population. Cairo is also the 13th most populated city in the world.

  12. How did they take the brain out of the mummy? They took out their brains with hooks from their noses!
