  21. Profiles • The functionality is a mechanism wherein a customer can store their customers credit information on the Gateway. This includes: • Customer Name • Address • Card Information • Order ID • Amount • Affiliated with this Profile is a Profile Number. This number can be assigned by the merchant or assigned by Paymentech [merchant’s choice] • A Profile can be created either as a stand alone transaction as a part of an authorization request. • Once a Profile is in place, a merchant can simply pass a request with the Profile ID and any other data not stored in the Profile to process a request. • Profiles is supported in both the On-Line Interface and the VT.
