  3. What is Relay for Life? • Overnight Relay event 12 hours • Held at a track • Members of each team takes turns walking around the track for the duration of the event

  4. What happens at the event? • Survivors Lap • Luminaria Ceremony • Fight Back Ceremony • Food • Games • Activities

  5. Who Profits • Hope Lodge • Road to Recovery • Look Good … Feel Better • Reach to Recovery • College Scholarships

  6. Start: Saturday April 14 at 6pm End: Sunday April 15 at 6am Where: intramural fields

  7. Get Involved • SNA - Cancer Detected Shirts • Purple Ribbons $1 • 2 Penny Bottles = 0.5 hour (optional) • Food at the event (tentative) • Pie a Professor $5 / Pie a student $3 (at event) • Hours: • Raise $15 or more with 2 hour attendance=2 hours • Raise $100 = 1 hour

  8. Lend a Hand • Committee (sign up) • 6 members • Food handlers permit (preferred) • Attend relay for life meetings • Help with items = ½ hour • Foldable chairs • Foldable tables • Flash lights or battery lanterns KRISJHLE.VALENCIA@yahoo.com
