    4. Description of project Project focus altered and refined with aid of key skills consultant; Explore how a Learning Coach or Form tutor would offer support and guidance for key skills by structuring 1:1 tutorials using IOLP standards as a foundation.

    5. Description of project Two groups of students involved: 8 KS 5 students who are studying for vocational qualifications with a partner special school. (group working with Learning Coach) 2. 40 KS 4 students who are studying citizenship and aiming for the WBQ qualification. (group working with form tutors and citizenship teachers)

    6. 7. Work to date Students, with guidance from learning coach, use working with others templates to help them organise fund raising activity.

    8. Work to date Pink Day Some portfolios of evidence for level 2 working with others will come out of this activity. Students raised over 800 for the chosen charities.

    9. Work to date Study Skills seminar run by outside agency maximise. Evaluation question after today, what changes will you make in your life?

    10. Work to be done Develop IOLP documentation within school for staff to include; Role of learning coach Role of the form tutor Project for KS 4 students. Targets set for KS 5 students, based on review of activities completed to date, and follow through IOLP cycle. Staff training (form tutors, learning coach & citizenship tutors) in relation to IOLP documentation. Refine IOLP documentation. Set targets for KS 4 students following review.

    11. Issues/Concerns Ideally project would have been started earlier. Delay in announcement meant that systems already in place for September could not be changed (whole school target setting process). KS 5 students - will they still be here? Do they have the confidence to present? Links with partner school developing the skills they need. As always paperwork and key skills.

    12. Expected Outcomes Resources for supporting the form tutor/learning coach to mentor students through the development of key skills using IOLP standards as a foundation; sample portfolios of work; case study on the use of the learning coach to develop key skills; case study of working in partnership to develop and accredit key skills between a mainstream and special school.
