  7. Contents of OPF Subdirectories LIN (Line) Contains information that is constant within a line., such as final datum, type of units, source type, total number of shots. TRC (Trace) Contains information which varies by trace, such as FB pick, trim statics, source-receiver offsets. SRF(Surface location) Contains information which varies by surface receiver location, such as surface location XY coordinates, surface location elevations, surface location statics, number of traces received at each surface location, and receiver fold. SIN (Source Index #) Contains information which varies by source point, such as source XY coordinates, source elevations, source uphole times, nearest surface location to source, source statics CDP (Common Depth Point) Contains information which varies by CDP location, such as CDP XY coordinates, CDP elevation, CDP fold, nearest surface location. CHN (Channel) Contains information which varies by channel number, such as channel gain constants, channel statics, if appropriate. OFB (Offset Bin) Contains information which varies by offset bin number, such as surface consistent amplitude analysis. OFB is created when certain ProMAX processes are run, such as surface consistent amplitude analysis. ILN is the inline (3D only) XLN is the crossline (3D only)

  8. Types of Parameter Tables The following is an alphabetically sorted list of parameter table suffixes and their corresponding descriptions and column headings: • AHZ: Autostatics Horizon Gates • AMP: Amplitude Reduction Curve • AST: Unknown parameter table • COL: Color Table • CON: Tomographic inversion constraints • DEN: Density Field in Depth • EDT: Neural Network Trace Editor Weight Matrix • FBP: Neural Network First Break Picker Weight Matrix • GAT: Miscellaneous Time Gate • HIT: Ray density from tomographic inversion • HOR: Horizon Picks • KIL: Trace Kill List • MUT: Mute Gates • POL: Polygons for the Interactive Velocity Field Editor • PVL: Paneled velocities • RSL: Residual RMS slowness field • RTE: Neural Network Reversed Trace Detector Weight Matrix • RVS: Trace Reverse List • SLO: Slowness field in Depth • VAD: Average Velocity in Depth • VAT: Average Velocity in Time • VEL: RMS (stacking) Velocity • VID: Interval Velocity in Depth • VIT: Interval Velocity In Time • WGT: Tomographic inversion weights
