  2. Description • Peregrine falcons have… • Long wings • Broad tails • Pointed wings • Tapering tips • It is two feet tall • Notched beak • Curved orange talons • Black and white feathers • They weigh about one to two pounds

  3. Habitat • A peregrine falcon can be found in all continents except Antarctica • It nests on high cliffs, even buildings! • They also nest near coasts • They are even found in CT!

  4. Species • The peregrine falcons species is a falcon • The scientific name is falco peregrinus • The peregrine falcon species used to be endangered • A peregrine falcon is cold blooded • It is not a mammal
