  3. Irrational Numbers: 6.29184… 7.112111211112… There is no way to make these types of numbers into a fraction.

  4. Tips and tricks to help: (Ignore the decimal = 11 therefore = 1.1 or 1 1/10) Rational! 2.7897897… (put repeating part over the 9’s to get fractions) 2 789/999 = 2 263/333 Rational! A perfect square number is rational because it can be written as a fraction. (If it’s not a perfect square, it’s always irrational) IRRATIONAL!
