  2. WHAT WE LEARN? • According to Torrance Test of Creative Thinking: • There is no specific gender differences on creativity. • Education perception of schools affects the creativity levels of children. • Attitudes of parents highly affects the creativity.

  3. cont'd... • Genetic factors are effective on creavity but, environmental conditions have vital importance. - i.e. Taboos, prejudices, wrong and right beliefs, social rules etc. blocks creativity. - Children are more creative because they are not aware of the rules. - Limitations also feeds the creativity, but until some levels.

  4. cont'd... • Definitions of creativity differs from sector to sector. • Even it may change in the same sector. • Alametifarika vs Alice BBDO • Different definitions reflects to works and feeds creativity.

  6. ANALYSING • Main Concepts: - “Extraordinary” (non-creative occupations) - “Efficient/practical solutions” (ad-people) - “Imagination” (teachers) - “Out of border” (psychologists) - “Combinations” (designers/musicians) - “New” (everyone!)

  7. How we can improve creativity? • Psychologists: • Adults should get a new look to their environment. • They need to practise about thinking in different ways, different aspects. • Basically, they need to learn learning to improve their creativiy.

  8. cont'd... • Business People: • Brainstorming is an important tool to increase creativity. • Any idea should be taken seriously. • Each employee should get a responsibilty or project to think about it, beside the routine. • Nececities and urgencies brings creativity along.

  9. Rich Binell: “I think creativity has to do with the process of finding and improving simple solutions to complex problems. So it has four stages:  1. Defining the problem carefully.2. Exploring and inventing many different, smart, simple solutions to the problem you've defined. 3. Choosing a solution and executing it.4. Reviewing the solution and deciding what could be improved to solve the problem better, or by redefining the problem. Therefore, improving creativity means improving the creative process and that takes work at all four stages.”

  10. cont'd... • Teachers: • Children are more creative unless they are limited by wrongs, sins, taboos etc. • They can express their creativity through the games. • They need to space, both physicially and mentally. • Art theraphy and theatral technics can be used to improve their creativity.

  11. cont'd... • Parents: • Child games and books, related to their age, are useful. • Children can easily get any information through internet and TV. Parents should be careful what they get. • Children also, should be permitted to make their own simple decisions and encourage to ask questions.

For future studies: • Psychologists: Initiate comprehensive and comparative examination : -Different subfields of psychology tend to different approaches to mental processes and behavior -Unexamined population and limited range of avaliable research -Credibility of Psy theories affecting research

  13. For future studies: • Business People Explore: -How/why at-risk working conditions seem as motive -How various organizations emancipate employees -Functionand dynamics of brainstorming

  14. For future studies: • Teachers: -Identify effective ways of expression – such as games and practises -Promote and observe courses/exercises focusing creative skills -How various class and training conditions affect creativity -Encourage research that utilizes limits / rules / norms

  15. For future studies: • Parents: -Identify both helpful and harmful tech devices/games -Engage more broadly ways to child personalization and stress the “role model” that parents cause to lean -Examine the interaction of demographic variables - such as parenting age,gender, income
