  4. Comparative general tariff reduction formulae, impact on the Philippines *application of the G20 formula for the Philippines (all tariff lines) results to an overall average cut of ~29%, application of the US formula results to an overall average cut of ~58%

  5. ‘Sensitive’ Products Demandeurs the developed, particularly the EU & G10, but also available to the developing Coverage (% of tariff lines), proposals • US, G20 – 1%, EU – 8%, G10 – 15% • possible convergence at 4-6% Deviation from General Formula 30% with possible higher deviations for more sensitive products; compensation rules, including TRQs (MAVs), to be negotiated TRQ commitments proposed to be based on domestic consumption Special & differential treatmentfor developing countries on different elements still to be defined
