ISO/IEC 17021:2006 Intent of WG21 for ISO 17021 Can be applied to any management system Incorporate as much of IAF guidance as possible Accommodate latest technology Incorporate common elements sometimes better work in wg 23 so was incorporated in 21. Sometimes better work in 21 so passed back to wg 23. PAS 17005 will be based on the work and text of 23. Principles based performance requirements states what should be achieved but doesnt dictate how it should be achieved.
