  2. Android System is the most popular mobile system nowadays, you may wanna switch your old iPhone to the new Android phones like Galaxy S5, Note 4, etc or you buy a new Android tablet. If you've been a long time user of an iPod, iPhone or iPad, you will find all your music collection, playlist, movies, TV shows are organized by iTunes, but iTunes is not compatible with Android, don't worry. Here is a step by step guide will show 3 ways to let you transfer iTunes music and movies to your android device. • I will use my Macbook and Galaxy phone as example in this guide, the operation steps are the same for other Android devices like Nexus, HTC, Tablet.

  3. Solution1. Transfer iTunes files to Android with TunesGo (For Mac OS) • The tool you need is this iTunes to Android Transfer (also named TunesGo). Why I recommend this shareware? Because it's not only work for iTunes music, but also work for iTunes movies, TV shows, playlists, iTunes U and podcasts. If you just want to transfer iTunes music, you can go to Solution 2 or Solution 3 directly, they are totally free. • Step1. Download and install the iTunes to Android Transfer, and then launch it. Connect the Galaxy phone to Macbook, the software will recognize the phone automatically. You will see your phone info in the primary window. • Step 2. Normally, the iTunes will run automatically. If not, please run it by yourself.

  4. Step 3. Click Sync > choose Sync iTunes to Android. Tick either Entire library or Selected playlists, and click Sync to begin the transfer. When it's complete, the iTunes music will be transferred to the Galaxy phone.

  5. Tips: You can also click Sync > Sync Android to iTunes when you want to transfer music and playlists from Galaxy phone to iTunes.

  6. Solution2. Transfer iTunes files to Android with Samsung Kies (For Win and Mac) • KIES is the a freeware developed by Samsung company to manage files for android device. It's available for both Windows and Mac. According to my user comments, there are some connection issues on Mac sometimes. And Kies doesn't support iTunes playlist, please refer to solution 1 when you want to transfer iTunes playlist to Android. • Step1. Download and install Kies (Kies download link). And then launch it. • Step2. Connect the Galaxy phone to computer with USB cable, the Kies will detect the phone automatically as follow.

  7. Step3. Go to the top menu, click File > Import iTunes playlists to Library. Then, under Library directory, click New Playlist. All your iTunes music will be add into Kies.

  8. Step4. Select the songs you want and click Transfer to Device. That's all.

  9. Solution3. Transfer iTunes music to Android Manually (Only for Win) • If you don't want to install any software, you can find the iTunes music on your computer hard drive first, and then manually copy the music to your Android device. This way is totally free, but it can only transfer songs, not works for other files types like video, playlist, podcast, and movies. • iTunes stored music in this folder by default: • Windows 8/7: C:\Users\username\My Music\iTunes\Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\My Music\iTunes\Windows Vista: C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes\ • Step 1. Go to your iTunes music folder. Open it and you will find many folders named by artists. Songs are saved in these folders.

  10. Step 2. Connect Samsung Galaxy phone to computer with USB cable. The computer will automatically detect it. And then go to find the external hard drive of Samsung Galaxy phone and open it.

  11. Step 3. Go back to iTunes music folder and copy your wanted songs to Samsung Galaxy phone. Done.
