  2. Getting food • Sharks have sharp teeth to a attack • Penguins use their beaks to get food • Lizards can camouflage to sneak up on it next meal

  3. Protecting from predators • Plants have cellulose so its hard for herbivores to break them down • Skunk have a smell when something tries to hurt it • Bear have sharp claws to protect themselves from predators

  4. Finding a mate • Foxes attract mates by there vibrant red coat • Goats fight for the female goat • Peacocks use there feathers to attract there mate

  5. Withstanding weather • Bees have a hive so heavy rain does not hit them • Trees go dormant so the don’t die • Polar bear have caves for snow storm

  6. conclusion To sum it up animals need to adapt to survive all different things. These were just a few reasons why adaptation are necessary.
