The GOIN’99 initiative aims to improve disaster management through advanced data exchange and team collaboration tools. This project incorporates distributed image spreadsheets and collaborative applications that facilitate seamless communication among network providers in Japan, Korea, and Thailand. Key milestones include initial engineering configurations, performance testing, and the upcoming CEOS Network SubWorking Group event in Osaka. Stakeholders, including APAN and NREN, will collaborate to enhance network performance and reliability for disaster response.
